Could be that as well.I'll state the obvious.... your table is out of level.

Could be. The perfect rolling tap is a good way to narrow it down.Sounds like he's got a little dip at the end, don't it??
What would the follow thru have to do with the cue ball not going straight??
That says it all.a) your table is not level
b) your stroke is not aimed along the line you think it is
c) your stroke makes contact with CB other than where you think it does![]()
I wish the op the best w this.Could be. The perfect rolling tap is a good way to narrow it down.
If you’re slow rolling the break that may be why you have no chance to get out.
As some of you read on the 106 Breaks & 7 Chances thread I attempted to slow roll the 6B up about 8-10 inches the other night and missed it to the right.
So, tonight, I attempted a drill for slow rolling as shown in the diagram above. And every time I tried to slow roll the CB through the 3B and 1B the CB went to the left. Every time. The only time I got the CB through was when I made a conscious effort to aim to the right.
Thoughts?

P.S. Dr. Cue wants his name back.
Do you enjoy playing pool? Do you play others?
I definitely think you would enjoy it quite a bit more if you could play against other versus just judging your ability against what you see on youtube. Might be worth finding a spot, or some spots to go compete.Yes, I enjoy playing. A great deal of the time it's frustrating.
I've played others a few times over the years. But that's been my main weakness. Living in a small town there's basically nobody worth a hoot to play against. The two people that I've played with over the years both died of cancer.
Competition has always been a problem for me.
You beat them so bad they died of cancer? Wow, thats a beatingYes, I enjoy playing. A great deal of the time it's frustrating.

Sorry Greg, you lost me at pizza!!the obvious time er uh thread to promote. Cueball at impact and the eyes following whitey is the quickest way to gain important data. The rotation of a stripe is easiest to follow. The rotation of whitey and the path are data. The rotation of the object ball is observed as well. A bad contact can be obvious. This better betting position to know for sure. Not blame just data.
The little chunk of pizza was a culprit in a bar er uh tavern environment.
The data of a 1 hour morning fitness program adds to the bank. Data bank leads to money in the bank.![]()

One of the biggest tournaments in the world is less then 2 hours from you and happening in January. I'm sure there will be some hoot worthy players there.Yes, I enjoy playing. A great deal of the time it's frustrating.
