Champion/Pro or Shortstop/Amateur/Banger. It's your choice.

On this free video hosting website, the videos only last 24 hours and are limited to 250MB and 10 minutes in length.

One of my posted videos demonstrated my ability at the time to make a rather long straight in shot.
In the video I made shot only 8 times in a row.

That was last Tuesday, about 5 days ago.
Here is the progress I made since then.
Below you can see that I make this same shot 18 times in a row.
I really don't expect most of you to watch it, especially because the video is 11:54 long.
But keep in mind that my purpose is not to learn this particular shot.
My purpose is to perfect and learn my shot making technique, method, system.
This is work. And can be boring.
It requires discipline.
I expect to improve much more in another week or so.
There are lots of aspects to my shot making that needs correction and improvement.
I'm working on those as well.

Now, because the video hosting limits videos to 10 minutes, I had to split the video into two parts.
To prove continuity, the first video overlaps the second video by one full minute.

Okay. This is enough for now. Here is the 11:54 length video in 2 parts.
The first part starts at 00:00 - 07:00
Part two is from 06:00 - 11:54

Part 1: 0-7_720_Str8 00001-1X18.mp4

Part 2: 6-end_720_Str8 00001-1X18.mp4
My goal is to make this straight in shot at least a minimum of 25 times in a row consistently.

The following video is my attempt to make this cut shot once again.
I previously posted two videos where I made it 3 times in a row twice.
My short term goal is to make it 6 times in a row.
And my long term goal is to make this cut shot 10 times or more in a row consistently.
Here, I tried once again. But again, I was only able to repeat and make it 3 times in a row once.
This makes the third time I've been able to do this in the past week.

Video has expired and been deleted.

Can you provide the logic behind this? Not trying to shut you down.
Sure.
I frequently played no-wager 9-ball at Hard Times with brother James Woods.
That wasn't his real name but he liked to be called by that name.
He once had me pretty well snookered with 7 or 8 balls still left on the table.
Although I didn't make the ball, I did make a good 4-rail kick hit.
It could have even been 5 rails. Can't exactly recall.
Anyway, I do recall that James Woods was quite surprised.
He muttered to himself, "How'd he hit that ball?"
That's the reason.
I want to hear more similar comments about my game.
I know. I've got a long way to go.

How would this fit into your uber player scenario? Sounds kinda vain as the sole priority.

A quarter on the 5 and 50 cents on the 9 was cheapest I would play 9 ball. And a good time ( in the ring game) was had by all. 🤷‍♂️ Busted the quarter machine one time. 🤷‍♂️ 😉

I'll accept the OP as his advice on approaching the mental game of pool. But spare me the self-assurance and certainty. There is no golden key to getting through a rack.

At one time, that was big time. When I was learning we knew nine ball was too many, so we played six ball. A nickel on the 3 and a dime on the 6. Many all-night sessions. Really. I remember that I had to get the car home in the morning so my dad could drive to work.

A 55-54 session of 8 ball with a friend way, way back was just for fun because we enjoyed playing - only remember the score because I lost, lol, and the only reason we quit was because it was closing time.

Well I get it.
You have an odd way of making these shots. I have a way more “conventional ” way of shooting these shots.
Bottom line, you are making a lot of difficult shots and I for one am impressed.
Keep up the great work.

What is it with you?
Do you have a case on me?
Did you open a case on me?
Maybe you are the one who should be answering questions.
What's with the victim card? If you open with a pool method, you should be able to clearly explain and in this case justify it. Lot of it seems lacking in valid content. Just wondering. Inquiring minds want to know. :ROFLMAO:

I think you are in the wrong thread.

In this thread, I conclude summarizing with:

"In the end the balls come to rest and you are responsible.
And you will answer for it."
