Yes, for sure… but a 4.6l stroker engine,4.10 gears, & 32’s ride just fine @ a Wrangler norm of 2900rpmIf you've ever driven a Wrangler at 80 mph or in high winds you already knew this.
My wife currently has a Gladiator (after two previous Wranglers) with 4 inch lift and 33's, and it's a handful to keep between the white lines from 55mph on up. They're great in the mountains and crawlin', but not so much on pavement. I'll keep my GMC 2500 HD.Yes, for sure… but a 4.6l stroker engine,4.10 gears, & 32’s ride just fine @ a Wrangler norm of 2900rpm![]()
80+ into a good wind. Quiet. Good gas mileage. If you've ever driven a Wrangler at 80 mph or in high winds you already knew this.

I gonna have to throw out a “pool” analogy here. Seems for the most part it’s the “driver” not the “vehicle”. I pull my tent trailer at 80 down the interstate with my 97’ TJ.The two lane highway to my house is 70mph. The only vehicles that consistently drive slower than prius's are suburus and jeeps. I'm never behind a jeep doing over 52mph, and that includes the cars with 'jeep' emblems. If they want to go that slow, they should ever drive in the barrow pit or have gigantic neons signs that say, 'Slow, Stupid Vehicle'.
And even during the occasional moooo, a much, much quieter ride.
