Handmade Patek Philippe Billiards Watches

I bought a pool watch many years ago.
I have never worn it, I just wanted it for my pool related items collection.

You can see it on post 38 of this old thread.
It cost around $75.

What is a Patek?
I'm assuming they mean Paketa. They were soviet made mechanical watches. Soviet/Russian for "Rocket." They are really neat watches, good quality and can be had on ebay ready to go for $30 and up. If you like mechanical watches they are worth looking into. Neat read with picshttps://mroatman.wixsite.com/watches-of-the-ussr/raketa.

That page doesn't show all the designs, there were all sorts of ones, even ones celebrating north pole voyages, sputnik, all sorts of stuff. Google images will show them.

No, patek Philippe is an extremely high end watch brand. They make Rolex look like dollar store bargains.

I would guess by name only. Like Omega’s moonswatch. I’ve never heard or seen these though and I follow the watch world regularly.
Bishop, this has to be a scam. This stupid crappy watch has an asking price of $400k. To me this feels like asking $75k for a Pinoy knock out Balabushka.

I did search it and ai came back that it’s not true.

Patek Philippe does "Rare Handcrafts" collections. The 2 billiard-themed watches were part of the 2024 collection. Here is an article about that collection: https://watchesbysjx.com/2024/04/patek-philippe-rare-handcrafts-2024-geneva-salon.html

The Rare Handcrafts 2025 collection is still displayed on the Patek website: https://www.patek.com/en/collection/rare-handcrafts
Well, thank you, sir.

I stand corrected especially on a clarification from you, Sir. I’m very surprised. I’m still wondering which pool player will be buying it for $400k.

Yeah, just reading up. No pool player would buy these. Maybe a watch collector but I doubt it. A Patek fan but still doubt it.

I don’t see the market for this at all.

It’s like a super wealthy novelty item.
