I actually think most would get it, especially cue collecting. I think most cue collectors and most watch collectors would think these particular watches aren’t what anybody would want. It's a niche collector thing. Either you get it, or you don't. I suspect many in the watch crowd would look at this forum, and ask: "Why would anyone collect pool cues, or pool balls?"
Will you take $400k for the jacket?
That’s a fair argument. At their price point I guess it’s a status symbol. I’ve never really paid attention to the brand because of that price point.Isn't that what all their watches are?
Sold! Send me your ZelleI'll do better than that I'll let you have at $375k
I would not buy, but I would if it had Joe Camel on it.Reminds me of Joe the Camel…I would not buy.

This is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time.View attachment 866294
This would be a lot more appealing if they had licensed some actual art, but I'm sure the Jacob Lawrence estate would have nothing to do with them: https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/488043
I'm assuming they mean Paketa. They were soviet made mechanical watches. Soviet/Russian for "Rocket." They are really neat watches, good quality and can be had on ebay ready to go for $30 and up. If you like mechanical watches they are worth looking into. Neat read with picshttps://mroatman.wixsite.com/watches-of-the-ussr/raketa.
That page doesn't show all the designs, there were all sorts of ones, even ones celebrating north pole voyages, sputnik, all sorts of stuff. Google images will show them.
Sorry but I can't help you I don't have a zelle. But it's a shame it has a nice embroidered picture of Joe Camel leaning over the table shooting an 8 ballSold! Send me your Zelle
Naaaa not the same thing. These things look like something you buy for $10 at a swap meet. Only a pool player is going to want one of those to begin with. It's a niche collector thing. Either you get it, or you don't. I suspect many in the watch crowd would look at this forum, and ask: "Why would anyone collect pool cues, or pool balls?"
I have one. Don’t wear it often. Too formal except for special occasions. I’m more into Tags. They're a very well known brand, put out top of the line watches which in the watch world, means quite a lot.
Watch brands try and do new stuff and many times they do hand painted dials that are unique and supposedly increase their desirability. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I don't think it works for these, I've seen other watches that are much more memorable with hand painted dials.
Not to be mean, but the world of high end watches is beyond the income of any pool player who has ever lived based on pool income. Rare, or super limited release watches go from hundreds of thousands of dollars, to millions of dollars. The diamond additions celebrities want are another story altogether.
Google celebrity watch collection and put in John Mayer, Jay Z, Mark Wahlberg and see what real watch collections involve.
