So, is he on parole or on something else?that dude is gonna harp on this for eternity. i'm guessing JB doesn't give a shit what he thinks.
Just replace 'doing' with 'saying' https://professorbuzzkill.com/2017/05/29/einstein-insanity-qnq/A bloody disgrace.
Players like Thorpe and Styer representing USA, whilst Bergman is at home.
This will be over by day 3.
You say this like its a new thing. The US hasn't been a factor, with the exception of one player, in int'l. big table pool for 15yrs or so. We all know and debate the reasons but it is what it is and its not changing anytime soon. If you can figure out how to get people back on 9ft's in big numbers you're a genius. It’s not just Tyler and Thorpe. Both Shane and Fedor are not good as team players.
In order to get a different team, more Americans need to attend WNT events and score some points.
But in order to do that, they will have to leave the bar box mentality behind.
It all goes down to the same root issues.
5 American players went to the Mosconi and a 340 million nation couldn’t find some players good enough to play at the Spanish Open. They won’t get to an international pro level by playing small events at the local hall or some money games (big or small)
Yes, it costs money to travel and compete, it’s the same for everyone on this planet
Guess you aren't watching then.Disgusted.
Team USA are a joke.
If Bergman is not on the team next year, I am not watching the Mosconi.
Clean? He's played really well in it but that was then. He's in his 40's, clean and doing what he likes yet people think his sole duty is to play the MC. They need to get over it.
Guy dogged 5 shots that were just horrific. All mental.
I don't think table size is the problem, America just doesn't put resources into billiards like other countries do.You say this like its a new thing. No it is the tables. Bar table pool is alive, well, and thriving. If only a small % of those people would play on big tables it would be a huge deal. I agree the resources/grass roots programs are sorely lacking as well. Its a multi-headed problem for sure.I don't think table size is the problem, America just doesn't put resources into billiards like other countries do.
If I ever achieve enough money, I'll run a training center for the youth
League pool and bucket bar tables have led to this.I don't think table size is the problem, America just doesn't put resources into billiards like other countries do.

See we agree on somethingNo it is the tables. Bar table pool is alive, well, and thriving. If only a small % of those people would play on big tables it would be a huge deal. I agree the resources/grass roots programs are sorely lacking as well. Its a multi-headed problem for sure.
Perhaps it plays a part, but most pros don’t come up through the league circuitLeague pool and bucket bar tables have led to this.
What in the holy F are you snorting?would love to see both Bergman and Dechaine in this
plan B) let Earl captain and choose a team, he has a whole plan around that and I think he could see success
nopeDoes anyone think the pockets are too small?
I was in the arena and the pockets looked super tight.
European players have grown up playing with snooker, so they have an advantage.
