Dominguez vs Guama race to 50 for 80+ per side

people are judged by their actions. and sometimes silence in a matter is not the best course to go.

no way to know at this stage of the info. but having tunnel vision or being star struck with a person doesn't give credibility to anyone's opinion.

if what happened is what has been said then od is certainly wrong in what he did. whether it was for his own good or he thought it was right.

what would some say if guama secretly adjusted the table after oscar did and made it back out of wack so he could win.

would they now say guama won fair and square. of course not. they would call him a cheat. things have to work both ways in a bet.
Don't be mad Oscar pulled a Jedi move and fixed the table.....I love that the guy has been in action and is a legit table mechanic, puts all that to use to beat the riff raff.

Hahahahaha....hahahaha

this is the bald rich guy that walks around like he's carrying a fridge and hogs the action table at DCC with rubbish play?

overall this is such a bad look, having knowledge of loose bolts / gaffy rails as a spot. not the prettiest side of american pool.
Dude sounds like an evil villian..."Oscar will die on the sword daily."$uck$ to be hu$tied by a hu$tler.

Carl Bolm has so much money betting hundreds of thousands on a C level game. I want to give him the 7 out and the breaks for life...and never have to work again. (Yes I am jealous of his money and dude is 70 and built like a super hero!)

Always pays up too! I’ll always root for him when he is in action. He doesn’t have to have the best of it either and he will come to you.

You mean play correctly? Don't be a dunce, you're way too smart and have been around long enough to know better.

A player involved in a money match should not be fooking around with the table they're gonna play on.

Have someone else do it if necessary. That's not being a dunce, that's being smart... and fair.

Carl bolm is a cheating C#×+. Fuc* that low life. I have no dog in this fight but he's a punk.

Carl being a scummy gaffed up table cheat is calling somebody else a cheat 🤣 he should be laughed out of every pool hall in the world

Would like to be there when you say that to his face, lol.

should be a fargo limit on that DCC action stream, it's been unwatchable the last couple years. i don't care if it's elon musk and he's betting a billion if the play is rubbish

What did the cheat do in the first place? He gaffed the table

I don’t have any knowledge of how the table got in the condition it got in.

From the discussion here it would seem the table was just gaffey and one guy said he’d play just about anyone on it. And, if what’s been posted is true, the proffer was to play on the gaffey table. Then OD “tinkered” with the table, presumably making it non-gaffey.

If true and you look at it thataway it’s pretty clear who the cheat is.

Tables don't just end up that way unless its some shitty home table or the mechanic that set it up had no idea what they were doing. Just sayin

If a table plays the way it was designed to play, its not cheating.

OD, you and I have played on enough tables to not let some shitty rolls make us lose a set, a few games yes but OD got to play on the table before the match which would have sorted him out on how it played.

G was outmatched plain and simple and no amount of gaffing up a table was gonna save him, now if OD agreed to play on the table as is, then......

If tightening some bolts on the table was such an egregious violation of " pool hall " norms: why did folks pay off?

According to OD, he has been paid in full.

I think in the agony of defeat folks are looking for scapegoats........

I just recently played on a table, in a tournament, that I would consider gaffey.

Speed was way off, most likely because the cloth wasn't stretched very tight (you could put your hand down to bridge and move it around), banked short, had a significant roll running parallel to the end rail, and the peace dey resistance, was a particular pocket that you could hit a perfectly paced in-the-heart shot and it would not drop.

How did it get that way? Who knows. But my opponent and I were playing on the same table so we both knew enough to keep our mouths shut and deal with it.

And yes, from the accounts here, OD agreed to play on the gaffed up table.

I don't know -- you'd have to ask Carl.

What’s the definition of gaffe?

None/most of the pockets won't accept balls uniformly/similarly. The playing surface won't roll balls uniformly and the rails won't all play uniformly and it could be by design/tinkering or happenstance. The top right corner had a ball that rolled backwards instead of dropping into the pocket, just one of many symptoms of a gaffy table! Easy-e had a ball go into one of the latest Brunswick bar table models in UP USA then it rolled back out, that would be a gaffy internal pocket design that hopefully gets corrected!! Most 10 ft tables are gonna be gaffy that aren't redone to factory specs but if most/all are 50+ years old then noone knows what those specs are!!

If it was a homerun derby contest but a small part of the fence had fallen completely over and you put it back up that could be potentially observed similarly to if bolts or other equipment/parts were missing from a pool table but even those would be 2 entirely different things. Now if Oscar went to the owner of the table and asked permission to "fix" "modify" the table and got permission and the owner watched him alter it, then it would be on the owner of the table to tell or not to tell Guama and Oscar would have a sorta insurance policy against shenanigans.
