Predator's WPA Women's World 9 Ball

Tied at 2 sets a piece. 5th and final set about to start. It would suck for either of them to lose from a shootout if it goes 3-3

I totally support a shootout in the PBS series, but I don't think it should be used to determine a world championship. Congratulations to Seo Seoa.

The cue spike was fantastic.

The shootout was anti-climactic. I still view it like stopping a tied basketball game with 1 min left in regulation to determine the winner by a free-throw shooting contest. And in a world championship? Seo Seoa--the world champion of 9 ball, that she won by making a spot shot.

Really some nice pool on offer in the ladies final. That safety battle at 2-2 in set five was a classic. Hate to see the match decided in a shootout, but Seo Seoa deserves great respect for a fine win. Loved the cue toss at the end. When you finally realize the accomplishment of a lifetime, it can be hard to collect yourself, and the slight cue toss seemed a nice manifestation of her unbridled joy. Well played!

She is a very interesting person to watch play. She seems to be about the most emotionally detached person when playing, but once she wins gold she is about the most emotionally expressive and vulnerable person. It is definitely a fascinating dichotomy.

I expected this to be close as I think they play equal, but Kristina has a better break and Seoa has a very slight edge in kicking and safeties. Seoa broke poorly (her weak spot), but so did Kristina this time, so Seao had a slight edge. It couldn't have been any slighter. Great match.

Slight? Really? She's extremely lucky she didnt break it, who in the hell treats their cue like that when they just won that event. Stupid

It was stupid as hell, I wish it would have broken into 5 pieces

Nevermind the games she won to get to the shootout 🤦‍♂️
