That would be a travestyTied at 2 sets a piece. 5th and final set about to start. It would suck for either of them to lose from a shootout if it goes 3-3
She is a very interesting person to watch play. She seems to be about the most emotionally detached person when playing, but once she wins gold she is about the most emotionally expressive and vulnerable person. It is definitely a fascinating dichotomy.Really some nice pool on offer in the ladies final. That safety battle at 2-2 in set five was a classic. Hate to see the match decided in a shootout, but Seo Seoa deserves great respect for a fine win. Loved the cue toss at the end. When you finally realize the accomplishment of a lifetime, it can be hard to collect yourself, and the slight cue toss seemed a nice manifestation of her unbridled joy. Well played!
Slight? Really? She's extremely lucky she didnt break it, who in the hell treats their cue like that when they just won that event. StupidReally some nice pool on offer in the ladies final. Breaking at 10ball on super-tight equipment is pretty tough. Not sure if you can assess the players breaking vs. assessing the refs racking.
It was stupid as hell, I wish it would have broken into 5 piecesThe cue spike was fantastic.
The shootout was anti-climactic. I still view it like stopping a tied basketball game with 1 min left in regulation to determine the winner by a free-throw shooting contest. And in a world championship? Seo Seoa--the world champion of 9 ball, that she won by making a spot shot.
Shit, I coulda swore they were playing 9 ball, guess they made the 10 ball every break and then never spotted itBreaking at 10ball on super-tight equipment is pretty tough.
