Fedor Gorst - looking for action in Louisville, KY tomorrow. If you could - would you?

although the lessons part.

there is so much more you can learn on improving from videos and on the net reading. than you could ever really get from a live teacher.

but neither will do much good unless you take that and apply it.
I would rather meet with my instructor live than watch one of his videos.

so do that then.

and i would rather beat a better player out of a few hundred getting a spot i can win at. then donating a few hundred to a top pro just to watch him run balls and then say thank you.

two hundred up rather than two down is a 400 dollar difference that really is the cost. if you have the choice of each.

Nice tangent to something you clearly don't understand.

This is what you wrote

With some teachers you can learn so much more from them in person. Do you think every bit of knowledge that they have is put out in videos or in some magazine? So you statement is completely false & just your misinformed opinion.

Okay, I was ok giving Fedor the loot and a small spot.
BUT if I have to say thank you, when I lose than I'm out.

Where you going to be in a couple weeks Maha?

Big tournament coming up with some damn good players that might just give you some action.

You're all suckers, but never mind that. Look what I got from a buddy in the Philippines.

Manalo said “Proceeds from the sale of the book and other merchandise sold at the Pacman Cue Club will go to a fund for senior and current pool players”.

I'd pay $100 to play Fedor in a race to 11 in 9B.

He's not going to run 11 racks on you.

He might string together a couple of 4 packs.

But you are going to get your chance to play a top pro. And feel the pressure of people watching. Which should make your league or whatever a little less stressful for you.

Ya but you're not going to make a ball on the break, and if you happen to, you won't get out. Don't you remember your 100+ breaks and no chance to get out post?

suckers play the slot machines and justify it for whatever reason. that's on them. at least there once in awhile they do win.

suckers play better players even for money and justify it in their minds . fine with me.

but if you are stupid enough to do it with a pro and play even. at least make it a one and stop game. then you get to shoot as many times as him.
but will still lose. but will get some play in.
now maybe you wont be such a fool. as a fool and his money will part.

Some 20-odd years ago the casinos came to St. Louis and they completely and totally killed pool room action.

I was sitting on the rail next to a grizzled veteran of the pool wars who couldn't get a game and was bemoaning the situation. Staring straight ahead he said, "I ain't playing nothin' that stands against a wall 24 hours a day and says, 'I'll play you whenever you like; any time of the night or day; you can bet whatever you want; I will never quit and I will never ask you to adjust.'"
