House Cue Conversion

I picked up these Huebler Mark II blanks on eBay. Can the metal inserts in the butt cap be removed? If they can be removed, do they prevent a cuemaker from installing a butt cap or a bumplerless Hoppe style butt? I am trying to understand my options for converting them. The width at the end of the butt is 33 mm on the skinnier of the two and 29 inches up to the front of the cue 22mm wide. Overall length is in the photos. Thanks!

Thanks for the intel. That is a sharp looking conversion that you did. I am guessing snakewood.

I should have included that I would like to preserve the Huebler engraving ideally. If that metal inserts and pin unscrews/pops out would it be possible to fill the void and do a delrin butt cap or a bumperless Hoppe?

The logo was on the part that was missing so didn’t matter for me. Yes it is Snakewood and Ebony.

If it doesn’t come out easy for you, just plug it with wood or phenolic and go from there. If you don’t want to preserve it then bore it out a plug it.
