spoke to Mouritz at the Scottish open last year and he was a lovely person. Been rooting for him ever since. Can't believe how good a year he had last year and looks like he's continuing where he left off.
I’ve grown everything possible to be grown on the East Coast. I start all my own seeds indoors except for certain things that don’t like transplanting (carrots, beets). I even grow tomatoes indoors during the winter.
My staples each year are tomatoes, peppers, chiles, squash, cukes, carrots, beets, melons, beans, peas, radishes, eggplant, leeks, scallions, bok Choi, lettuce and all major herbs. I also have blueberry bushes, raspberries, strawberries and blackberries.
My pool practice is definitely more limited in the spring.
mario has more experience, breaks better and is a better shotmaker imo, but MR finals are a thing of their own. mario has never been in one, moritz has. i think moritz will win, but rooting for mario
i wonder if it annoys opponents. it's lowkey towelito stuff, lol. but he plays at a good pace

Mario played in the final of the 2024 Qatar Open 10ball, with $100,000 to the winner. Daniel Maciol beat him that day, but Moritz has never been in a spot as big as that.
I don't think Mario is the better shot maker, either. Moritz will not have a tactical edge of any kind in this match, but he has a definite edge in offensive execution. Mario misses a few more balls and gets speed wrong a little more than Moritz. I think that if this match is a cliffhanger, you'll see Moritz executing the runouts more steadily than Mario. Of course, either is capable of winning comfortably, but we shall see.
Two likable finalists, but it is hard not to root for the veteran in this spot. We know Moritz has several big titles ahead of him, but Mario is a veteran who may not have so many chances as good as this one in his future.
