Yeah but, it's a great article about pool in a newspaper site with a pretty big following. I give the guy credit and I bet he plays a lot better than 482.
Yep, yep, but I'd be willing to bet that he put himself through college playing pool.Yeah but, it's a great article about pool in a newspaper site with a pretty big following. I give the guy credit and I bet he plays a lot better than 482.
He went to a restaurant and ate his 2K lol.Yeah but, it's a great article about pool in a newspaper site with a pretty big following. I give the guy credit and I bet he plays a lot better than 482.
Yeah I was going to say the same thing. I don't think this guy is going around claiming he's the greatest pool player. My recollection is that Headlines are often written by the editor. I’d assume the chef/player never suggested he was one of the best players in America (the article itself isn’t that over the top).
[The chef] has gotten so good that, last month, he competed in the Billiards Club of America’s massive, mettle-testing Pool League World Championships in Las Vegas — and nearly won the damn thing.

In the end, the chef turned shark won seven straight before losing his eighth match, coming up a few shots short of the finals. Dunsmoor placed fifth overall in his category, out of thousands of competitors. He won about $2,000 and immediately spent most of it at an off-Strip restaurant.
My ambition was to have the best used book shop of any pool bum, and to be the best pool player of any used book shop owner. It wasn't that hard to accomplish.Great read! A chef in the restaurant and a player in the poolroom, driven by the same passion in both worlds.
Professional pool is just a microcosm compared to the vast world of league players and social shooters. It’s always refreshing to read about someone who’s truly devoted to their craft, yet still makes time to enjoy what they love just as much. And that’s pool.
Yeah, I don't know...
I know a comedian who claims to be a world champion foosball player to boost her youtube and booking profile. She did win a capped event at a large tourney with her mother (who is a legitimate foosball legend), but she is pretty mediocre in the grand scheme of things. Nice girl, I'm happy to see her doing well, but she definitely didn't mind over-blowing the foosball accomplishments.
Fargo doesn’t tell you shit..maybe he doesn’t play in many Fargo events. You guys put to much weight on silly Fargo ratings.
His Robustness is 393 and I've seen him play. That's about his speed.Fargo doesn’t tell you shit..maybe he doesn’t play in many Fargo events. You guys put to much weight on silly Fargo ratings.
A light hearted, positive article about pool. Nothing at all wrong with that.
Well that’s fair if you seen him play but robustness isnt’ crap either. Lol if you play in leagues with short races you can get your robustness up but your Fargo doesn’t hardly move because your getting low Fargo players thrown on you . Ask me how I know. Lol I get guys in the 400s thrown on me all the time . You beat them 5-1 (Uspal) and your Fargo still drops lolHis Robustness is 393 and I've seen him play. That's about his speed.
The average Fargo in our league is 494 with 32% above 540. That 32% has an average Fargo of 577. Plenty of opportunities to increase your skill level if you are an underrated 482 Fargo.Well that’s fair if you seen him play but robustness isnt’ crap either.
