I can not find much information about the us open other than hotel and tickets to the event on the WNT webpage. It has been over 30 years since I went to the US open in Virginia a number of times. Wondering about how the experience is now. Any feedback would be appreciated. What time do the matches start and end? When you buy a ticket, is it first come first serve on the day of the event as far as where you sit or are the seats assigned? Are players and non players able to mix together? I really enjoy the tournaments at Skinny bob's because the players and non players are mixed together in the pool room and you could be sitting next to a world champion and most of them are more than happy to have a conversation.

The matches start at about 10AM and end about 8PM. Matchroom events generally do not have very late matches, unlike a lot of US tournaments. If you sign up for the live scoring (free, but requires email), you can look at the match scores and times from the 2025 Open. There were two matches that started at 8:45PM, which was the latest. There were only nine matches in that Open that started after 6PM (according to the published schedule, which is pretty accurate.)

When they are in the early rounds, there are 30 or so tables out on a big floor. There are aisles set up with chairs. There is an on-line schedule, so if there is a match you want to see, get there early. No assigned seating. When they are down to a few tables, I think it is still random seating.

There is a lot of player/spectator mingling at the big events. (It's much less at the Mosconi Cup.)

This is a new venue, so some things may be different.

I went to the ticket website thinking I may be able to buy premium tickets but they only offered general admission tickets so I bought those.
