Decider time, 12-12 Trump and Vafaei putting on a show.
Zhao pretty big favorite from here.
Well I just caught the tail end of the Murphy Zhao first session and both went limp at the end. NOT impressive and certainly doesn't inspire confidence in either making it all the way.yea, gotta agree. i think the winner of zhao v murphy wins it. the bottom half has become quite weak.
When does it go down to 1 table again? Is it the semi finals? I know Robertson normally struggles at the Crucible as he dislikes the lack of space around the table. I think he's a contender if he can get down to 1 table part of the tournament. Higgins is a tough draw, but will he have the stamina for another long match v a top player, I think the Ronnie game took a lot out of him.
Curious how Vaffei will do. He seems to have calmed down a lot and looks a better player for it. Only caught the end of the match, but looked like Yu Wize struggled to get over the line against Selby, despite Selby looking far from his best. Based on the little bits I caught of their matches I'm expecting Vaffei to beat Yu Wize.

Higgins stamina could be the decider but after taking out Ronnie, his mind could be right to go All The Way. Then there's Vafaei taking out Judd.....his confidence should be overflowing. While the players navigate the tournament, the drama is certainly entertaining.
Oh , I so look forward to the replays available. Big thumbs up.well you missed out. zhao was on fire before the midsession. some insane shots. worth the replay
I saw the same thing with Murphy and Zhao. The point is, in my opinion, that the snooker WC is such a devastatingly long event that even the greatest champions at their best form will have an off session or two. So when the top ones start missing and look shaky, it can be just a glitch and a sign of the tournament taking its physical and psychological toll on you at that moment. But the best ones know how to recuperate overnight and come out guns blazing the next session. And that could mean that a 8-8 overnight is a 13-8 or 13-9 final score the next day.Well I just caught the tail end of the Murphy Zhao first session and both went limp at the end.
