Perfect Aim / THE SHIFT will be on the road again. First stop will be Phoenix, AZ. FREE mini lessons everywhere I go......5/13/2026 1st day.

Well the bottom line Geno did not post is COST of his Lesson? After the Mini Lesson?
The reason I do the mini lesson is every player that does this wants to learn how to fix the problems. Some feel they can fix it on their own but will still find it hard considering the dominant eye kind of hides the problem and sabotages the shot.

Many players that teach and travel charge quite allot. I've always kept my prices down. I charge $400 when I'm at my home area and players come to me. While on the road the price is $500. I can only do one lesson per day. The reason for the $100 increase is expenses. Motel, gas and whatever else while on the road.

If you don't mind, while I'm in Phoenix this time, I will give each player your number, if you share it here, and have them call you to tell you if they think it is worth it. And I guarantee that it will always be positive.

I have another question. Is there something that I did that made you mad?

Looks like I will be in Phoenix on Thursday. I will start making the rounds to the poolhalls doing mini lesson. I caught something that really made me sick. I took a covid test yesterday and came out negative. So I'm heading out today. Still pretty sick but it's easy to drive not feeling well. By the time I get to Phoenix I will be just fine. Last time I was in Phoenix I did about 127 lessons to be exact. Got them all wrote down in my book and I will be calling each and everyone of them to see how their game is going. If I miss someone, I hope they call me.

Well now we know the cost, thank for reply.

If people take the Lesson I am sure they will post their expierence.

Good, or Not Good.

BTW Phoenix has changed, many of the pool Room & Pool Bars that were open have closed.

Phoenix changed not for good.

Still down in Yuma. Will take until the weekend. Sat and Sun will be my first days. Now I just need to know which poolroom to start with. Cocobolocowboy says the old rooms are gone. Any ideas on which one I should go to first?

Geno , I hope you make it all the way up to Billings Montana , if so Brother's Billards on Main St. In the Heights would be a good starting or finishing place ?

I understand your frustration I've had C4 , C5 & C6 all fused in 1990 for the first one being 4 & 5 , then 5 & 6 fused in 1995 .

NOPE Pool IMHO is over in Phoenix, couple of Saturdays ago, there was an Arizona State One Pocket Championship Tournament, NO ADD MONEY, giant field of 10 Players. Honestly only one person was someone I could recognize. This was where Pool has sunk too.

The Money in Pool in Arizona is being a League Owner / Operator, and giving players ribbons, trophies, and pins at season end. Wahoo.

The majority of league players are out for a night of boozing, fun........and it Pool, or Darts that is the game. NIGHT OF FUN!

That is IMHO what you’re driving into Geno in Phoenix, since your last run through town things have changed, and not for the good.

I hear the stories from the old timers who talk about all the action that use to be at place like The Golden EightBall, Alexanders, and Kolby's......All closed. and replaced with things like restaurants, phone repair stores, and entertainment venues.

Remember when Scott THE FREEZER Frost opened his place, FREEZERS in TEMPE, it last about what it 15 months before become an entertainment venue.

Have fun spinning your wheel in Phoenix, you got taught competition in the instruction department......Ever hear of Jerry Brieseth, he is the guy people go to for help improving their Pool. Jerry IMHO is the Best a Class Act.

Hope you got your answer.o_O

After being on the road teaching Perfect Aim for 5 years I was rear ended in Peoria, Ill. and broke my neck. 2013. At that time I had just done my 2,000th lesson with Perfect Aim in 5 years.

3 years they tried to rub it and hope it would heal up but eventually I had c5 c6 and c7 fused. 11 months after the surgery I was back on the road on my first trip and got rear ended by a young lady in Rockford, Ill. I had just got done with my 5th lesson and heading back to the motel room in Beloit. That was the end of my traveling, I could hardly stand to ride in the car. Too much pain. But I'm ready to try it again.

Since then I had, heart surgery, lung surgery, right and left knee replaced, hip replaced and took seizure meds. Lingering results from being knocked out in 4 separate accidents over the years. During this time I have continued to teach averaging 4 lessons per week plus still maintaining a 700+ Fargo rate. I only have 15,000 games in the system and don't play leagues.

I'm ready to go again and have some pretty amazing stuff to show off. A new addition to Perfect Aim is the SHIFT. Understanding this is why I can keep the high Fargo rate even at the age of 73.

Perfect Aim / The SHIFT is the final piece of the aiming puzzle. It pretty much answered so many problems I had as a young player trying to get right English equal to the left. Too much left and not enough right. A player can play this way and still play at a high level. But once this is learned it will raise everyone up to a level they could not even imagined.

It only takes about 10 to 15 minutes to show a player why they need to know this. It's like Aiming on steroids.

I will be in the Phoenix area for at least 2 weeks maybe more. Anyone that wants to see this just needs to call me. 715-563-8712 The mini lesson is FREE.
You’re amazing Gene. Always been a well respected player and stand up guy. Keep on keeping on!

Sorry to hear that Rusty. Hope they have healed up well.

Thank you Jay.
Geno , when they fused my neck was back in the stone age compared to what they do now ! I was layed up quite awhile after each surgery 6 months and no driving or riding in a vehicle unless it was to see the Dr for a checkup each month .

Now it's basically a out patient procedure and they don't require you to wear a cervical collar for a week if that , both times for me it was 6 months of shaving way more often than I want to admit and I used a lot of baby powder and switched out the cloth cover on the collar .

So now when I play pool I use a combination of a European / American stance that Frank McGowan helped me with on his suggestion .

Pool is not what it was in Phoenix 15-20 years ago it is way down.

Jay should recall last time Phoenix drew Pro’s to town.

25k add event with rubber checks, Jay wss TD, and got rubber also.

Pool still has pockets of places it thrives like Louisiana, Texas, Florida, but Golden Age is over.

Think in Willie Mosconi’s book, Willie’s Game sums up the Game of Pool
Well. Has never been as big as year Willie was born 1913.

Pool has taken on a whole new landscape. It was good before and it is still good, just a little different. The nutz and bolts of every pool city is the leagues and the players that play in them. They have full time jobs, families and trying to have a good life for all.

When I was on the road before , 2009 to 2014 teaching Perfect Aim I met so many amazing people. Amazing families. And the competition is fierce in the leagues. This is the heart of pool.

The days of the hustlers is gone forever. With the internet and the Fargo ratings, local players are really educated as to who they can play and compete with and who they can't.

It's so important what I teach because by learning exactly where the eyes have to be it eliminates the need for hours and hours of practice to get there naturally. Plus now with the SHIFT it puts the whole aiming thing in sync. Now you can totally envision the shot correctly and you are able to control the amount of right and left English equally.

I'm not going to be in Phoenix for very long. I have commitments up in Minnesota, but I want to put a dent in the pool knowledge while I'm here.

I will be in Phoenix Sat the 16th. I will be doing FREE mini lessons to everyone that wants it. And what this does is opens up a whole new world of knowledge that up until now has kind of been stagnant.

I have no plans yet as far as which poolhall I will go to first. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Here we come Phoenix. The return of Perfect Aim and with the NEW SHIFT. It don't get any better than this.

Well Geno you get points for being positive About Pool. But you trying to rearrange the deck chair on Titanic, post I burg strike.

Not a bad thing for a guy in the pool instruction business. Tooting his own horn.

But the truth is Phoenix Pool is not like it was 10 - 15 years ago when we had a Local Rating System, as fooked up as Fargo. Difference was we also had a Pool Newspaper, called Arizona Billiards News, list more tournament than one could shake a stick at. Mike Howerton did a hell of a job with that paper. Sold paper it to guy name Kevin, he and Chuck Bobbit kill off and big Phoenix Tournament with Big Rubber Check Event. Ask Earl, Ask Johny, ask Jay about the Rubber Checks.

The difference today is Less Bars, Sports Bars, and few Pool Room in Phoenix. So Arizona has few Pool Table, and place to play.

Less tournaments, less players, and the League Player don't buy Good Cues, Cases, and don’t pay for Instruction. Hell we got 29 Table where I live, 55+ community, and 99.99% of the regulars would laugh at paying for a lesson. Recreational players, play for recreation, few see improvement it too much work.

Now the Million Dollar Question, if a Pool Player has No Solid Fundamentals. Can’t do nothing consistent. Like setup, Stroke or shoot a Ball the lent of a Bar Box accurate.

How is PerfecAimShift going to help this person with NO Consistent Fundamentals?

Also who are the Top Professional Player you have coached to improve their game.

Have heard no chatter about any Top Professional say Geno & Perfect Aiming help me win the _______ _____!

No suggestions on where to go in Phoenix, last time I played any place out of our community room was over 10 years ago.

Regular places I played Tournament's are all closed!

Hi there Cowboy, The one thing that other teachers would say about me was you have to have good fundamental and thatg is what they teach, like I don't. How do I play at a 701 fargo rate, still playing everyweek in weekly tournaments in Minneapolis with other 700's I teach the best fundamentals that I can. And I didn't learn that from someone else that just thought they had good fundamentals.

While I was playing on the Camel Tour in the late 90's I video taped 15 of the top pros. From the beginning of their shot to the end. I broke it down to 15 totally seperate things that a player had to do correctly to make the shot and shape work the best. Then we made a video of the 15 players doing one thing one after another after another. If 13 of the 15 were doing this one thing a certain way it might just be the best way. I would try it in my game and if it seemed like it worked well, that is what I taught.

Again, I was dogged by a few players/teachers that would say, but he has to teach the fundamentals. Like I said I do and i teach the correct fundamental. Not just what I thought was the best but what my 15 pros were doing with all these different 15 things.

Good fundamental have to go along with the correct sighting of the dominant eye and the SHIFT to get equal English both ways and be able to hit center ball.

But on the other hand, you can teach the best fundamental in the world but if they don't hit a million balls to naturally get the eyes in that best position, sights are crooked on the gun, it doesn't matter what the fundamental you use. If you miss it's over.

I'm going to light some fires this time in Phoenix like never before. The lucky ones will take advantage of this as soon as possible. I'm only planning on staying for a couple of weeks so they better not wait.

Look out Phoenix. Perfect Aim/THE SHIFT is back. 715-563-8712 Gene Albrecht Perfect Aim.

Geno aka Aim Doctor, you dodged the question, so you have one more chance to reply. Here it is again.

Now the Million Dollar Question, if a Pool Player has No Solid Fundamentals. Can’t do nothing consistent. Like setup, Stroke or shoot a Ball the length of a Bar Box accurate.

How is PerfecAimShift going to help this person with NO Consistent Fundamentals?
