Won hill-hill off the tit

Ha! Lou loved it.

Now remember the next time you're playing banks to clarify ruling for that first. I say it's good. (Anybody know they play it at DCC?)

Its good. They specially go over it at the DCC and someone always asks the question: "if it hits either of the side pocket tits is it good?" TD always says yes, at least the meetings I was at a few times.

I used to play the points in general a bit. The working area is a lot bigger than most think. The shot into the point of a side pocket and across to the far corner pocket isn't nearly as hard as it seems. One of those things I might spend five or ten minutes a session practicing just so I don't freak when it comes up. It's a good one pocket shot since the right speed leaves it near your pocket if it doesn't fall.

First time I saw this shot was on an old ten footer with dead cushions. My opponent shot it and cost me a few dollars. I practiced the things that can be done off of points after that. Your opponent rarely works the points so it can give an area of expertise they don't have.

I play kicks off the point whenever I need to and I’ve made a few at critical times. I developed an aiming system for them but each one is different so you need to shoot a few to calibrate on a table before you start.

Most of my gambling was done in a fairly small loop, less than a hundred miles from home, so I tended to know how the tables played. It might be a strange table but it was the same brand and in the same room conditions so it upped the odds of making a kick or bank off of a point. It wasn't a higher percentage shot for me unless I had been playing that table a long time but sometimes the rest of the table layout made a fifty-fifty shot or one in three shot worth playing.

There was the effect on the other player too. I did my cyphering while I was moving and shot all shots like they were a hanger. "Never let them see you sweat" was a solid belief of mine. Once I had someone committed to playing, I often put all the heat on them I could!
