So I was caught very off guard in the Arizona open with the way the tables played and there was limited practice available and not enough to really get adjusted to how different they played. I declared that I would never be that caught off guard again so I immediately started making a duplicate of the WNT tables. Now I didn't go out and buy a diamond pro 9 foot as I already have a Gold crown 3. So what I did was order the WNT dynasphere ball set and extended the rail beds (which I've intended to do ever since I switched from my old 4" pocketed table to the gold crown that my best friend gave me with standard cut pockets) and bought the CPBA cloth that they use.

Well here it is a week and a half later and I did it. I duplicated the table. Atleast it plays exactly like the WNT tables did at Yuma. I pulled the cloth super tight.

Might as well go all out and extend the slate 1/2" or whatever it is to get the mile deep Diamond shelf. Glue a block of wood to its edge or something like that.

So do these. The diamond blue labels aren't supposed to, but noticed that the tables at Yuma did even though they were blue labels. It's the felt and the balls I don't know how. It might be a combination of the felt composition and it being new and the balls being more prone to sliding. But you have to kind of treat it like a red label.

The shelf depth with pockets this tight doesn't matter as much. If you get it in the pocket, it's pretty much going to drop. If you're off even a bit, it will rattle, deep shelf or not.

The Blue labels still bank short. Crazy people like them. It is what it is after 35 year of people complaining. Falling on deaf ears.
 
Mostly with this, I wanted to get more accustomed to the speed and rebound. I noticed on a tight diamond blue label even with simonis these balls did some of the same things.
 
One of the pockets was too tight when the other 3 were at 3.99, so I had to adjust them equally, they ended up 3.91" I love it though and I'm still able to run out when I hit them well. So all the better. I've always preferred a tighter table.
 
Ok back to legit responses: did you do the work yourself? What exactly did you do? Is this your first time or have you worked on tables before? Were you asking a week ago for the miter angles? I did go to the pool hall and measured a few Diamonds.

I did the work myself. I haven't been a professional table mechanic in 30 years, but we used to do installs, refelts and even built tables from scratch.

I was contemplating doing it the way everyone does and glue hardwood on and cut in the matching angles and route out the groove for the square dowel.

Instead I engineered screw in extensions in solidworks through several iterations, and 3d printed them in solid ASA. printing and adjusting in solidworks as necessary.

I then glued on the rubbers and facings and covered it. Is it perfect? not really. There are some things I would do differently if I were to do it again, but it's accurate and it works great.

:edit: The extensions are great, my cloth work on the rails isn't perfect and I would redo the way they transition and mount at the pockets if I were to do it again.

post script: The diamond blue labels use the same rubber profile,(K55), that I used so there's no reason for them to bank any different. Some people may perceive that they do, but they usually don't.

Which cushions did you use? K55 is ambiguous what it exactly means. There are sevaral brands that make a "K55 cushion". The Artemis Intercontinental 66 (K55 profile) that Diamond uses on all of their 9' tables is significantly different than every other brand on its nose radius, at the minimum. So the term "K55" has limited meaning. Here is their cushion:

Yes I used the artemis 66 cushions
 
What cushion is on the GC7? I recently played on one and it was slower than a Rasson table for sure. I would say it also seemed a bit slower than a Diamond.
