That would be great! There are so many tournaments in almost everyone's area. My goal is to get tournament info out people in there city, county and state, also big tournaments. I don't know how many times I've missed a tournament that was only 30 miles away or even in my town, lol.

I think the largest problem for information efforts like this is motivating the people with the info to get it to you. A similar problem is with the directories of places to play, of which there are five or six now. How can you get the info to begin with, and how can you maintain it over time? In the case of some of the room directories, the volunteer labor stopped volunteering, so that's a problem too.

My view: this is something the BCA should be doing, both for places to play and for local tournaments. Or maybe USA Cue Sports:

Bob, I can't agree with you enough. Toss in the # of promoters who say "Well, we listed it on our website/Facebook page. How could people not know about it?".

The only thing harder than getting the information in advance, is getting the results when events are over.

Sometimes you work your fingers to the bone and all you have to show for it is boney fingers. ☹️

That’s a great question.
I agree on the hard part in getting tournament directors and rooms to share dates, then keeping them current. Volunteer directories burn out for exactly that reason.

I run Break Sheet as a weekly U.S. tournament roundup (upcoming only) so players don’t have to hunt five sites. We pull tournament info from many pool Facebook groups as well as other directories and send in’s. This is a practical way to get big and local events in one place.

Happy to take tips from you or TDs / room owners if you’ve got something coming up.

This weeks Break Sheet issue is out. Free weekly U.S. tournament calendar, upcoming stops only. Sample of this issue:

Spine for Sep 11–Oct 12: PBS Vietnam, then PBS Bali, Spirit Lake Casino, the Twin Cities cluster, Palace City in Mitchell, then WPBA at Borderline.

Two of the bigger ones:
• Predator PBS, Ho Chi Minh City, Sep 19–26. Combined prize fund about $490,000 on the Predator/AZB release. Men’s 10-Ball World Championship is $300,000.
• WPBA Borderline Brunswick/Pechauer Invitational, Oct 7–11, Borderline Billiards, Bristol, TN. $20,000 added (WPBA, confirmed).

The full issue has the rest of the named stops, weekly rooms, and the fields I still have as unknown. Verify fees before you travel.
