I am not a Cue expert
What is it about this cue that makes everyone so sure it’s a Tad ?
The Tad’s that I have seen have little square wood color rings, not silver rings in the joint collars and elsewhere

tad made mosty plain cues when i saw them around in the very early 70's. only saw them out west. never one in the east.
later on they got ornate.
