Knowing Allen McCarty and Steve Titus as personal friends of mine since I began going around to different pool rooms in Detroit this would be nice to have just as a conversation piece.

I’ll have to find out from Steve about it but I’ll give you $300 for it.

Best I can tell, they are there to identify each "slice" of the laminated shaft, hence the hash marks/numbering.

I agree. I still have an early 90s one with a non-laminated shaft, and soon after it’s purchase I then sold all my Gus Z. & Schon cues that it outperformed.

Maybe they’ll do what Gus Szamboti did when he came across one of his first cues years later, buy it back and cut it in pieces with a bandsaw so no one else ever sees it again.

I would guess that the cue was maybe in the $300 range when new so I would think $600 would be a solid offer, that's doubling your money, anytime you can do that you are doing well.
