You aren’t wrong for having the thought, but I actually like watching streams of regional events or action matches. Streams from the Hard Times events are good, although I know not everyone likes them. I watched some of the Piazza’s stream last weekend and I watch some others. I often prefer the “ real” to the higher production pool stuff. I would guess some others agree with me.

oh trust me, I watch a lot of regional stuff aswell and I'm not a fan of the gambling long exhibition matches as those are beyond boring to watch.

I’ll bet no one knows the first live stream event where a man played a challenge match against a women? Hint hint it wasn’t a pool match but the man was a reputed pool, tennis and golf hustler.

i know too. bjk and bobby riggs. watched it. he tricked her.

half the world watched as it was exciting. same as fats and mosconi.

not so with present pool players/duds.

This was a major miscalculation and, as you suggest, single location made this result even less likely.

I wonder how far fetched the idea is to think someone could come up with a Truck (or maybe two) with a couple tables and production equipment that could be set up in many different locations across the country.....Many hotels across the country have conference rooms that I would think could be converted into a studio for some form of team format production........perhaps even have "limited" seating bleachers to create that sense of urgency to get your ticket....of course at a bit higher price.

OR.....reality TV seems to be popular.......and.........Pool players always seem to bring drama.....so

How about a reality series....a survivor event of sorts....Throw them all in a house for a few weeks and come up with a series of events to eliminate them one by one.....Can you imagine Earl in a house with the younger generation of players and some of the side drama in the house between elimination events.......Joe Rogan needs a new reality TV series....and he is more than capable to handle the fights between players.......get him to be the moderator.

Or maybe instead of the Food Truck Race....Have a hustler race where players have to go city to city and try and hustle up some green....Don't make the green and you get eliminated.
