While it looks like a digital art creation or an AI-generated hyper-realistic food concept, it has inspired many real-life internet food creators to replicate the recipe by stacking massive burger patties and baking them under pizza toppings.

The Double-Decker Pizza Burger Stack
  • Prep time: 25 minutes
  • Cook time: 35 minutes
  • Servings: 8–10 generous slices
Ingredients
  • 4 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 large eggs (lightly beaten, to bind the meat)
  • 12 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups low-moisture shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pizza or marinara sauce
  • 6–8 oz sliced pepperoni (preferably old-world style that cups when baked)
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced into rounds
  • Optional: 8 slices of cooked, crispy bacon (chopped or layered)
Instructions
  1. Preheat & Prep: Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease two large, round 10-inch cake pans or springform pizza pans.
  2. Mix the Meat Base: In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and eggs.
  3. Form the "Crusts": Divide the meat mixture exactly in half. Press each half firmly and evenly into the bottom of your prepared round pans to form two thick, even meat disks.
  4. Bake the Patties: Bake the meat disks for 20–25 minutes until fully cooked through. Pro tip: Carefully drain off all excess grease from the pans so your final stack isn't soggy.
  5. Build Layer 1: Leave the first baked meat disk in its pan. Layer the top with the 12 slices of cheddar cheese and your cooked bacon.
  6. Stack & Top: Carefully slide the second cooked meat disk directly on top of the cheese-and-bacon layer. Spread the pizza sauce evenly across the top patty, leaving a slight border. Cover generously with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Decorate: Finish the top layer by overlapping the pepperoni slices and placing your fresh tomato slices in the center, mimicking the look of the viral image.
  8. Final Bake: Return the entire stack to the oven for 10 minutes, or until the mozzarella is bubbling, completely melted, and slightly browned on top.
  9. Rest & Slice: Let the stack rest undisturbed for 5–8 minutes so the layers settle, then slice into wedges with a sharp chef's knife and serve.
