Corey Deuel Shot vs Hatch (Low Left)

OK, my bad... I just watched it again, and he does put low on it. The 4 ball was closer to the corner pocket than i thought it was. So it was low left on the ball. The shot happens at exactly 8:19 in the video on the 4 ball in case you're trying to find it.

Corey Deuel Shot vs Hatch (Low Left)

I don't think he has follow or draw on it, just extreme left english. when it comes off the rail on the right side of your screen, left english would tighten up the angle and make it hit above the side pocket, which it did. Then, seeing as how it is hitting an opposite rail, the english has...

    New Website Feedback

nice clean site. the only thing I saw was that is says "house pro's." It should say "house pros." There is no need for an apostrophe there.

    which shot spins more???

You are absolutely right, but only after contacting an object ball. This kills the ball's forward momentum, but not it's spin, so it can stop as it contacts the ball, and then start rolling forward again as the friction of the cloth turns that forward spin into forward momentum once again. The...

opinions on lucasis big beulah break cue

I personally have never played with one, but it seems to be a good solid break cue for the money. It's a lot less expensive than the Predator bk2 and honestly probably about the same performance-wise. We offer a free 1x1 hard oval case with it, or you can get a 2x2 hard oval case for about 10...

    Pre-Shot Routines

What do all pre-shot routines have in common, and how important is it to your game? I have a few things that I do almost every time, but I don't necessarily have a set routine.

    Best possible cue under $300

I am a fan of Lucasi and Viking for that price range. Viking is cool because you can do a bit of customization. I took a G02 and got it with a wood to wood joint, natural color stain, and a brown wrap for about $175. It plays nice, looks good, and isn't too hard on the wallet.

    Cues in cars

I once left a guitar in my car for about 2 days during the summer, and when I tried playing it next the 5 or so highest frets didn't work on one of the strings. This clearly indicates that the neck was warped. I have never taken a chance with leaving a pool cue in my car, but I certainly...

    New things thread.

I think I need to take your advise. Lately I think I've been pulling the trigger too early. Sometimes I get up to the table take a couple practice strokes and shoot.... and miss. When I think back on it, I knew the shot didn't feel quite right, but I shot it anyways. It sounds like such a...

    wood playing surface?

I actually stayed in a rental cabin just recently that had a wood surfaced table. I was surprised that it actually was sorta playable, but it still wasn't nearly as good as slate. The cabin and table were also brand new, and I imagine that it wouldn't take long for it to start warping. A...
