I am going to be making a purchase soon, and I was wondering if anyone here has played with a poison cue (as well as a viking), and could tell me if there was any difference between the two. I am looking into the antrhax cues of poison. For one, I don't mind at all that one is made in china or whatever, I am more concerned with the end product.

Thanks,
John

For my money, Viking makes the best low end production cues for the dollar......good luck on your decision....not too much experience with poison...

I've never played with either, but there have actually been a lot of positive feedback here on the Poison line of cues from Predator.

You should try hitting with both of them before making a decision. The way a cue hits is one of the most subjective things under the sun so I don't suggest taking other peoples word on it. That being said, I would say Viking. My first cue was a Viking and I've got fond memories of it. Too bad for the person that stole it, it wasn't a high end Viking so I'm sure they didn't get much for it.

I believe Viking are still made in the USA, if that matter?

Either you didn't read the post entirely or you need to brush up on your comprehension skills.

I do believe he was only trying to help, and if it is the final product that you are concerned about than things like where it's made can be a factor.
