    Pros who use Predator Cues

from what i've heard, the 314/314-2 is better than the z/z2. what do you think the next step up is, either predator or not? i can't wait to start apa next year when i begin grad school (hopefully in valpo - nw indiana here i come!)...

    2007 AZ Straight Pool Challenge!

1 and out just to say i played :) seriously tho, i haven't played in a while but a guesstimation for me would be around 15. i really should practice more 14.1

    How do you shoot this?

depends on how far the cue ball goes after deflecting the 10 in the corner. a good enough 14.1 player can just work around the table going in the same corner as the 10 and the opposite side and still set themselves up nicely until the balls are racked again.

    How do you shoot this?

here's an idea. hit the rail first with a bit of top and you should be able to break up the 14-8 so that you can go back and forth with those and the 9 and 4. continue on the 5 and then work around the table. that's just my idea.

    Predator With A Triangle Tip?

i don't know much about a triangle tip. have you ever used a moori tip or anything like that? i play with a medium-hard tip and like the way it hits. i guess its just personal preference.

How expensive is your daily player

Predator 5K2 with 314 shaft. $600. i recently won a nice stack of cash (from bowling, not pool), and i'm wondering if i should invest the $200 or so and get a z/z2 shaft. any thoughts?

Play nice or play to win?

play to win. you don't learn much, if anything, by playing someone who just isn't good. that's how we all get better, by getting beaten by the better person and lots of practice. it's why some people at school just flat out refuse to play me because they know the only way they can win is if i...

for the uninformed and eager learners (like myself)... What is 10-ball and this golf game you speak of?

    pool in philly

i don't gamble. the only time i did was at school where i knew i could make money. it worked for a while until people realized i wasn't losing. i'm here to learn and make myself a better pool player.

    Sl7

Just wondering who on here has acheived that milestone and about how long it took to get there. If all goes as planned, I'll be joining the APA next year. I'd like to consider myself a strong 5 (low 6 on a very rare occasion), but only time will tell I guess.

never played one pocket before, although i've seen it. i think i'm gonna start out at drexeline and see what happens there. only been playing with my 5K2 Predator for a few months.
