just as title says looking to buy a used wrap fixture,i know this is a loooong shot but I figured I would try,

bought some phenolic rod from atlas trying to make inserts,bought a 1/2 x 20 tap and die from snap on tools ,but when i try to use the die it just dosent make threads it sort of chews it up and when i use the tap on shaft does the same thing but leaves the hole bigger so what should i trim the...

hey chris i did call atlas they said i can send it back for refund ? but that doesnt help resolve problem, whamo:no one said it had to have threads just trying something differrent :) todd: thanks for suggestion have already tryed that size and other sizes :mad:
