    accu-loc joint?

This has been asked and answered before, however the answer is no longer correct. Is it possible to buy a joint set for an accu-loc shaft anymore? Cue and case does not seem to sell them anymore. Specifically I need the insert for the shaft. Any ideas?

    Victory Dances

More emotion in winning or loosing? I don't know about the rest of you but when I win I feel like "yep thats the way it was supposed to happen." and I don't make much of a big deal about it. Now I am a fierce competitor and do NOT like to loose. If I am just flat outplayed thats ok and I...

    Slump... HELP!!

I need advice.. I am in the worst slump of my billiards life. (only been playing for 4 or 5 years). I play in a league and normally win with a .650 average, last season was my best ever at .800. So far this season I am barely over .500 and its the same competition. I feel like I am just...

    What is a bad roll?

bar box I play on alot of Bar boxes and I must say I use the term "Bad Roll" to describe the cueball or object ball making very strange changes in direction caused by random spots on poor condition tables. I have seen a slow rolled cueball take a 40 degree turn for no apparent reason.. THAT...

Would you tell your opponent they are shooting the wrong ball???

pretty simple actually OK to me this is easy money game or tournament: If you screw up I am not gonna help you out. Even in APA matches.. You have teamates that should be jumping up and stopping you from shooting the wrong ball. Bar or playing for fun: Its all about fun, wins dont matter...

adjusting from a regular cb to a mudball

mudball AHHH I hate them. Only way to play and be at all effective is to hit center ball and use speed to get position.. you can forget about english on a mudball.. Great for a "Bar Banger" type player though.. LOL (u know the guys who like to rearrange the table on every shot)

    Best tip?

soft tips For anyone who likes a good soft tip, the Tiger soft is the best I have played with. Stays soft over time unlike some other soft tips that get harder over time.. Holds its shape better than most soft tips but still needs alot of attention. But overall worth the shaping time B

    Phenolic fad...!

I love the phenolic tip on my breaking cue.. If you are looking for the hardest hit with the least effort that is the way to go. As far as weight is concerned experiment a bit. The fury cues use a weight bolt system its very easy to go from a 18 to a 21 and back by simply changing out the...

    Heavier cue for breaking?

whatever floats ur boat I know people that swear by a 22oz and I personally swear by the 16oz that I break with. To me I am able to get so much more velosity on the cue ball with the lighter stick.. but hey if u make balls and have good shape after.. who cares..

Cue Tips, Hard, Medium or Soft?

    Tip reshaping..?

soft tips I play with a tiger soft tip (which i LOVE) but the downside is that it does need to be reshaped from time to time so it does not last as long as a harder tip. I do play with alot of english and dont hit alot of center ball but my tip still seem to flatten out over time. I think...

    Ob-1 Shaft Review

ferrule construction I have read most of the posts i can find on this shaft. No one seems to be really talking about the ferrule being constructed with "flat lamanated maple" Is there another shaft out there with anything close to this? and someone tell me why make the ferrule this way?
