    Need Motor for Porper B

    Any suggestions on a good replacement motor for a porper model B. Would like to have one with good torque. I have 4 porpers and the only one with enough torque to boar butts I pretty well burnt it up Still runs but can stop it easy with my hand.

    Ferrule Types

    I put Ivor-x ferrules on all the cues I make. They hit solid, don't get discolored from chalk, and have never had to replace one.

    Part-Time/Day Job Cuemakers

    I work a full tome job as a Correctional Officer. Putting in another 40 hours a week in is a good stress reliever. I build 30 - 40 cues a year,and do cue repair at tournaments. In les than 7 years I can retire and put in about 40 - 60 hours a week just working on cues. Can't Wait Chris...

    i need to put a nice tip on my jump/break any idea's ?

    Depending on your local rules, if they allow it, the best set up is a phenolic ferrule. They are great for breaking and jump better than any tip. The G-10 glass Epoxy ferrules break good and jump better than anything else. Chris Whitaker Chris' Cues

    Taper on a thin handled cue

    I build my cues with a straight taper from joint to butt. Finished sizes are .832 at joint and 1.2 at the butt. I like to use the harder heavey woods, and they will hit as solid as any big butt cue out there. Chris
