Proposed rules for tournament slow play in One Pocket and Banks

Seems to me that the single most problematic part of these games is that fouls cause the game scores to go backwards, which naturally makes the games last longer. Without changing anything about how the game is played, we can make all games go faster by not allowing the scores to go backwards...

    Brunswick Titleist 26 1/2

This is a beautiful Brunswick that was originally made in Chicago around 1920 and converted into a Titleist 26 1/2 by Wayne Fincher (Fincher Cues) in Seattle Washington. It is straight together and apart, all points are even and sharp, all white is the good stuff, including Ferrell's. It comes...

    Proper 2x4 case

I am 76 yrs old and been playing pool all over the country since I was a teenager. I have never seen another case like this one from Joe Porper. Has anyone ever seen one or does anyone else own one.To me it is a very functional leather case of a unique color and very well made. SO, I am...

    Cyanoacrylate refinishing my cue

I have refinished my cue a few times with super glue and I know the process. It has always come out great. My question is, as i am planning to do it again, must i remove all the existing cyanoacrylate finish completely or can I leave some of it, and apply more coats over it. I would prefer to...

    Cue refinishing

I have a cue that has a wrap on the handlle and some kind of finish coating over the wrap. I want to refinish this cue and remove the finish coating from the handle. What is the best way to remove this coating without damaging the wrap underneath?

    perimeter light

I have played on a GC 5 that had a perimeter light above it...the rectangle reflections that presented on the balls I found very distracting, Below is a pic of my GC1 that has a solid 8' by 2' led (5000k) over it. A solid led like mine presents less distracting reflections on the balls and has...

Wooden Rail Blanks vs Rubber Cushions question

I am putting together a GC1 now at home and I plan to use the Championship Tour Edition 3030 cloth primarily because the GC I play on at my local pool room uses that cloth and it plays very well. As fast a Simonis 860hr and over 100 dollars cheaper.

    Cloth Selection and Rail Inspection

If the monarch cushions have the same triangle configuration as the newer k55 cushions, but are an 1/8" shorter across the top, it would figure that either one of the other sides of the triangle has to be shorter or one of the angles has to be different, no?

    Introduction to 1p?

It is somewhat important to preserve some semblance of a normal OP break which you can do with a 10 ball rack. If you want then to have an odd number of balls to play the game then just agree to remove one ball off the table after the break. I would suggest the ball closest to the spot should be...
