    Most Overrated Players

Chamat has played all but one tournament in the "BD index", ranked no. 12. Other names on that list: 1. Orcollo 10. Hohmann 19. Schmidt 23. Williams Btw you ever check out the asian tournaments and the Euro-tour? My opinion is that most guys on your list are not overrated by people I know...

Poll: What type of wrap do you like?

Same. I started out with Woodstock and Meucci back when.. I just get tense if I play wrap. The Pechauer guys had some work to get my cue to be the right weight, balance, wrapless with nice wood. The thickness is very important too.

    low deflection shafts?

I love mine because they play well - even on stopshots. My old shafts just makes it harder. Even Steve Davis said he would have liked to play ld when he started playing snooker. But if you think you play better with a reg. shaft then you probably do.

Best Psychology Books for Pool Players

I have read Mind for.. and Pleasures, I really liked some of the ideas in pleasures. Like to concentrate on the body and not the balls, not to hype your game and get added pressure etc. Capelle is more of a handbook in tactics. //Fredrik

    2x4 or 3x6 case

3 x 6, I allways have my old cue for those late hours cashgames/beer- matches. 2 x 4? No way! I like beer and my cue too much.

Raj Hundal strong words about 9-ball/breaking/the rack

I didnt like that ban, as much as I dislike the lack of skill in modern 9-ball this is not the way to go imo. Honesty and spormanship, dont kick somebody that has gone down, no fingers in the eyes, no sharking, and brek hard! I support Raj on this 100%

How long before 10-ball replaces 9-ball

Some of you have stated that the luck-factor and the soft break are the problems with 9-ball. I dont agree totally. The biggest problem with modern 9-ball on a high level imo is the shots. They are too easy, the shotmaking of the 80ies is gone. In WPC these days is all Plopp! (break) plick...

Who Really Cares why Fatboy Left

Always nice with a post that makes you stop and think a little, even if its not about pool. Hope you get better fast. Dont give up.

    Best Playing the Ghost Rules

I like it! Never tried it but it sounds interesting. You could add an extra ball or two this way, safety is a big part of rotation-pool. Will try 11-ball with maybe a small spot next week. Thanks for the tip. And no, you cant compare this game with reg. Ghost, but who cares?

    Pendulum Stroke vs. Elbow Drop

I have seen Efren not being able to draw the cueball in important matches at least 10 times. Elbow drop? More than ever. There are dangers. Having said that I am a dropper myself, but not on drawshots, I think. And on long shots without power I shoot so short I dont have time to drop. Lol.

    Playing the ghost?

Answer to av8: Well Im not saying that 300 racks is the truth, but the pros have really gotten too god for 9-ball I think. When was the 35 number from? The last couple of years (like 2003-8) the racks have improved, the players have very controlled breaks etc. Check out a couple of top...
