I prefer a WELL DONE linen wrap.

The slight persperation absorption of the linen is nice, and I like the feel.

Sort of like the hardwood floor/carpet debate.

Crappy carpeting sucks...

I did a leather wrap on my Titlist which is nice, but I still prefer good linen.

Got some real Cortland linen on the way for my John Davis blank cue... should look/feel nice...

My favs in order

I have never had a cortland or cork wrap. So I can not include them in my favs.

1). Leather s my favorite, I have 3.
First is a black kangaroo 1983 Josswest.
Second is a 2009 Schmelke black textured.
Third is a textured brown 1978 Viking.
2). Wrapless, fav 1987 Muecci DH
3). Irish Linen,fav 2008 Dominiak

Ring Tail lizard

I really like to play with real Ring Tail lizard wraps. They don't get as tacky as leather and are very durable as well..There look doesn't hurt the eye either.

Since I prefer to play with a full splice cue, I prefer it be wrapless. Just seems a damn shame to hide beautiful wood under a wrap.

Same. I started out with Woodstock and Meucci back when.. I just get tense if I play wrap.

The Pechauer guys had some work to get my cue to be the right weight, balance, wrapless with nice wood. The thickness is very important too.

Living here in the mountains, I can catch live rattlesnakes, then skin 'em and add them to my cues. My game went way up soon as I did this.
