There were 3 people that only won one match in that group. If it wasn't Cory it would've been someone else with 1 in 3. He had a higher % of wins than Drago who had 3 wins and 1 loss.:p

There has to be more to it than that??? It looks like it would be possible to get eliminated in the 2nd round with a very high win % and then get 4th or 5th place money because of your win %? :confused:

Random draw in each new round. Just a suggestion. Make a list of all the players going into the next round by their win percentages. In round 2 they have 20 groups of 6 players. Take the top 20 and have a draw to see which group they are assigned. Then take the next 20 and have a draw...

Realize that there are 50 matches going at all times today and tomorrow. That would mean 2 or 3 updates per minute. I guess they could have an electronic device at each table transmitting results after every game. But it would take an awful lot of manpower or cell phone text messaging to update...

That's pretty impressive. But, the shot on the 12 ball looked awful dangerous. The 2 could have complicated the 15 or the CB could have rolled to a bad position for the 11. Is he shooting that well that he knows where a caromed ball will come to rest?:eek:

The win loss isn't carried over into the next tournament. The total for all tournaments will only be used for the final KOH tournament. At least that's the way I understand it.

You still have the problem that the last place person when knowing he can't possibly get any better than last will shut down. I devised a scheme similar to yours where each game won in your final group will mean more prize money. I posted it in the Strickland vs. Vandenberg thread.
