My buddy had all the talent in the world but didn't/doesn't care about pool. He has it all. Perfect 90 degree pendulum stroke, zero head movement/body movement of any kind, rapid fire pace, and can spin the ball a country mile. He just has a million other hobbies he'd rather do.
Whenever I hear about these guys winning millions then losing it all, especially Archie's story, I just think, man, how do you go on after that? That's gotta be soul destroying. Or was money truly no object to guys like that?
Not true, Alcaide had played so poorly with positional mistakes, poor safeties, and misses that it led to the chance for 4-1. Not saying Skyler didn't play well to get there but it was more on Alcaide.
I'm surprised no one remembers this guy. I know I saw him on ESPN more than a couole times. I know if I saw the name, I would instantly recognize it. Also the guy above me has it right when he says the guy just about jumped out of his shoes.
Surprisingly, it is no one mentioned. This guy was really skinny and short and had thin, dark hair, balding on the top. Jumped about 5 feet in the air.
