anyone know of a source for snooker ferrules in the US? I was asked if I could repair a brass ferrule on a snooker cue but other than ebay and knowing what size I need, I'm having trouble finding them.
I didn't see anyone mention 20 min epoxy for a finish. I have tried CA and love the look but hate the work it takes to get that finish. I only make a few cues a year and finishing them is what I struggle with. 20 minute epoxy with CA top coat(3-5coats) looks great, the epoxy builds a nice think...

the wheels can mount on the legs or on the base like the picture. when I was doing a warped house cue yes it wobbled, but the legs angle outward and are stable for real tip work. Home depot has other mitersaw stands that cost more but I don't think they would work as well.
