I know people who play with them. They seem to like them. I think the cues are very good-looking. Barioni cues sponsors a BCA league team in Modesto, CA.
They're all good shots but that kick at 2:48 blew my mind.
One shot I didn't see in the video is this one, an interesting position shot. I practice it sometimes but haven't mastered it yet.
Filler reminds me of Earl the Pearl. He shoots fast and straight. He shakes his head and acts like he's way out of line when he misses shape by a tad but still has an easy shot. He acts a bit unsportsmanlike after he wins (shouting, "spiking the ball" so to speak). He's a phenom for sure.

I've been noticing the (pro) players' cues here in Vegas at the world 10-ball tournament. A handful use the black cues, but most are still wood, even among the young players.
My way of finding the zone is to put some music on the jukebox and hit balls by myself for a while. The music opens up my right brain; it helps me stop thinking and start visualizing. People have used rhythm for thousands of years to put themselves into a trance. "The Zone" is a state of light...
Anyone know how to buy tickets to this event? (Sorry if off-topic.) I will be in Vegas and want to watch, but can't find out how much tickets cost or if they're even needed.
Edit: I think SVB will win.
