They're all good shots but that kick at 2:48 blew my mind. One shot I didn't see in the video is this one, an interesting position shot. I practice it sometimes but haven't mastered it yet.

I'm about a hundred pages into it and I don't regret my purchase at all. Well worth the money. It's very comprehensive.

Filler reminds me of Earl the Pearl. He shoots fast and straight. He shakes his head and acts like he's way out of line when he misses shape by a tad but still has an easy shot. He acts a bit unsportsmanlike after he wins (shouting, "spiking the ball" so to speak). He's a phenom for sure.

I've been noticing the (pro) players' cues here in Vegas at the world 10-ball tournament. A handful use the black cues, but most are still wood, even among the young players.

It's the superior option in many situations, because you have more control; you can kick safe. When you jump, you're turning the cue ball loose. Also, in the "days of old" :D, you'd get three-fouled in a heartbeat if your kicking game was weak. I don't think many local tournaments play three...

Young players jump everything. They don't want to learn to kick.
