World Pool Championships 2025, July 21-26, Jeddah

Jeremy Jones just shared the shotclock referee on Carlo Biado's table and the other referee were clashing, making it challenging to know which referee Biado is supposed to listen to.
They switched the ref on Carlo's match, and rightly so. That ref wasn't even paying attention to the match.

What's the point of this? making the rail dead in a specific area? So, if you are a cheater, you know not to bank here?
Yes. I've heard of the technique used at one pocket but with needles stuck into the rubber. So far as I know, I've never seen it actually happen.

Ignacio comin back. When the Score is tied 6-6 look what Biado does in the 13th rack.

Ko defeats Aranas 11-7. Fedor on the hill, 10-5.

fedor has been lucky af in this match
He won last year hill-hill when Kaci scratched on the 8 (if I'm recalling that correctly). How lucky can you get?

Of course, luck didn't entirely get him through all of the matches up to that point. But still, the guy gets some rolls.

Dang, that missed 4 ball (while being up 10-9) will haunt Duong for the rest of his life. Kudos for Roda to come back for the hill-hill victory. That last combo on the 9 thought about staying up.
