did rodney play this before? he's fast so 15 sec shot clock should be right up his alley
SVB has its work cut out for itHave not been following this.
Anyone knows who fare better or has better record in this format-
English 8 ball players like Melling, Cousins or WNT/WPA players like SVB, Bergman ?![]()
Once I believe.did rodney play this before? he's fast so 15 sec shot clock should be right up his alley
Shouldn't Shane and Tyler be practising for the Mosconi?
Why are they playing on a kid's table?
It's really fun. The rules take a bit to remember but they all make sense for the format.Yeah, GL Easy E.
Ultimate Pool is starting a league where I am. Gonna give it a shot and see what I think of playing it. I’ve commented before on mixed feelings about the rules but will figure them out and plan accordingly. How tough can it be to see an 8 ball pattern in seconds on a kiddie table?![]()
Congrats! Come find me and introduce yourself. I'll try to sweat your matches. Maybe you'll make the $100k!!!It's really fun. The rules take a bit to remember but they all make sense for the format.
Example, 3 point break rule makes sense because it makes you break a rack wide open. If you're a better player you may have to spot someone 4+ games in a 30 minute match. This means if they were to do a straight pool break you may never have time to run 4+ racks. Overall, the rules seem to encourage good pace and more excitement than a typical 8 ball league. Plus you can figure for a 5 man team it will usually take about 3 hours at most so you're not out all hours of the night on a work night.
Our team won city wide and regional so we are going to play in this event. I'm more than excited. Weekly fees are not much, $8 where I am. We won a pool jersey with our name and team name and got $1000 for travel expenses. That's pretty good compared to any other league I've been a part of.
I love the Ultimate Pool tournaments, I have seen every one so far, the turds were for his comment about toy pool tableshave you tried watching it? it's entertaining whatever one thinks of barboxes.
So how many players on your team were spotting 4+ ?It's really fun. The rules take a bit to remember but they all make sense for the format.

What's embarrassing about it? I haven't see many leagues that don't handicap. So how many players on your team were spotting 4+ ?
How many were getting the 4+ spot ?
League play , like this , is a embarrassment.
They'll be streaming all week. The entire shootout will be streamed, and lots of other stuff! No streams?
Yes sir! I'm hoping the tournament room is open 24hrs. Otherwise just find an empty table and play as much as you can! I'm guessing that it will be tough to find open tables from Wednesday on. They will also be having mini tournaments if that's your thing!easy-e will be my first time playing in one of these. Do they allow practice?
Good luck bud! It'll be a great time!Playing in the national singles and the open so I'm ready to play as much as possible!
When a team can win by losing that is a joke. What's embarrassing about it? I haven't see many leagues that don't handicap.
