SVB vs Josh Filler announced for Feb 6th at NYC's Amsterdam Billiards

It depends when you play. There are special deals in non-peak hours. For example, if I drop by on a weekday afternoon with a friend and we play from 11am -5pm, it costs about $60 in total, which comes to $5 per player per hour. Yes, in peak hours, you pay a premium price and get a premium product in one of the best neighborhoods New York City has to offer. Amsterdam Billiards is, for my money, the best poolroom in which I have ever played in America.

With over 750 of them, Amsterdam is the go-to pool room for league players. It's also a mandatory stop for any pool enthusiast visiting New York City.
Wow. I’m certain you’ve been in a lot of rooms. Can you share some things there that cause you to feel that way about this room? Thx

I enjoyed this match and thought it was refreshing. I liked watching these 2 duke it out on a GC with normal pockets. You could catch glimpses of smiling faces and it shows respect for the other's game.

Plus, the added history that it was co-founded by the late comedian David Brenner.

Did you ever read the actual origin of that picture you use in your postings? It's actually kind of funny.

I just realized that Amsterdam Billiards (which used to be on Amsterdam Avenue uptown when I played there) had now replaced my old hangout: Corner Billiards. Took me long enough to figure this one out!

Gee, this guy with Joshua Filler looks familiar. :)

Thank you so much for taking time to itemize the excellent qualities there.

skyline is owned and managed by pool players and the people that you will find there are pool players

pool players cannot afford the amsterdam or society prices- food, drinks, or table time

it’s not remotely close

and it’s not in an expensive upscale part of town, it’s a neighborhood and they treat people that way

the equipment is every bit as good as amsterdam without the constant vacuum cleaner noise, they do that after hours
