If those pictures in your previous post are of your Diamond, you really got screwed.
Aside from the shit rush job the balls stop on the end of the ledge before dropping. The guy did this comes recommended by people here and Diamond. 4.5 paid hours each way. He was in a hurry to get done and leave. Also came by himself. I had to help lift the top off.. and I cannot lift. I’m trying to get Zack from Table Fitters to come to Florida. He needs about 10 tables. Look at his FaceBook. If he is not the one to do this right I give up.

After having this Diamond Professional for several days now there is one thing that I think would improve the table. Instead of the nylon pockets if it had those rubber type pockets that the Gold Crown IV has that would be awesome. The sound of the balls falling into those rubber pockets just can't be beat. But again, this is about the only thing I can see that would make the Diamond Professional better.

r/DCP
I agree with that. Love that sound.

I'll stick up for DCP in this thread.... I think he wants the sound when the ball hits the back of the pocket to be louder. And I think the other members are describing mods to their Dimaond to make the sound quieter? At least that's how I'm interpreting this thread. That's why I believe there is such a disconnect.

Oh, and one more, if memory serves, the ball basket drop pocket in the Professional is much different than whatever is in the Pro-Am ball return. So the members might be comparing apples to oranges.

Negative.

Not the sound of the ball hitting the back of the pocket.

But rather the sound the ball makes when it falls down into the rubber pocket. The rubber pockets on my GCIV, that sound is so good.

Wow, you liked that sound? I would stick a sock in each of my GC4 pockets to keep the balls from twirling around for 10 seconds when the pocket was empty. However, I was also trying to quiet the table as much as possible so my neighbors wouldn't complain. It was in an apartment.

Just hit the balls harder! No ledge will stop a speeding ball! :):):):)
I could slam dunk a ball and it won't go in😂

I'm designing The Pocket Amplifier.
