Just heard about this place, anybody been there, thoughts?
If they’re busy and open, it’s working for them!Gen Z might be okay with the prices.
They had a good crowd for the exhibition. The owners are players, so they are interested in good playing conditions. If they’re busy and open, it’s working for them!
A family/group owned several pool halls in the Bay Area. I recently talked to someone who worked at the Berkeley and Fremont locations (both called Town and Country, I think). There were also rooms in Concord, San Mateo and the big one in San Francisco. He said the San Mateo room was renamed to Great Entertainer after SF closed.Chain of pool halls? Where else were they located during their existence? Does anyone have any pictures of all the locations? Was the Concord, CA one (went and worked there during the mid 80s) part of the chain? Is it still the same owners through all 3 (or more) locations from Concord to SF to now San Mateo?
