Gambling spot table size, which would you pick

On an easy table I’d rather have a game spot, on a tough I’d rather have a ball spot. If you’re getting games I’d go bar tabke. If you’re getting any kind of spot and you’re better you can probably do whatever you want lol

I would not pick either way. Instead, I would rather offer the 542 one game going to eleven, and we could play the set or match for $300 or $400 on a 9 foot table.

I'd make sure the play conditions favor you.
Table size, cloth type and Especially the cue ball.
If your opponent uses a certain type of cb where he always plays don't use that one, he doesn't have to know.

I'm 570. Opponent is 542. Opponent offers me a spot of 2 games on the wire going to 11 playing 9 ball, if I put up $400 to his $300. I accept. I feel I'm stone stealing. If you are me, would you play the game on the 7' or the 9'? Both of us are equally adept on both tables. Both are new Diamonds. I honestly don't know if it matters. I told him I'll play on either, and let him pick.

Which would you pick if you were me? Just curious, I'll still let him pick.
In my opinion, the bigger table favors the better player. In this case, you are the better player, so if I were you (and I am not) I would choose the big table.

The bad thing now is if you win next time you're still down a $100 lol. That's gonna suck

Good move on his opponent's part if he wants to play. I learned a long time ago to try never to let my opponent get back to zero. One reason I let them raise the bet, with the right timing they can never get to zero. Winning or losing they have incentive to keep playing, something about being back to zero, the most likely time for people to quit on you, well second most likely. Most likely is when you bust them!(grin)

he said conditions were equal. same as flipping heads or tails you cant take an equal situation and make it better for you.

and as far as being up or down after one set it doesnt matter as your gambling results are based on long term. if you use short term to make decisions you will make critical mistakes.
