He beat a 520 and a 610 to make the cash. That wouldn't even win a weekly tournament. All things considered he must be happy as anything he cashed in a stacked field pro event.

That’s a hard row to hoe. Gonna watch that one for sure! His next trial by fire in the Arizona Open:
Moritz Neuhausen vs
Jacob Parrent![]()
Playing Chris Melling now in the US Open.
The average participant in the Friday/Saturday tournaments at Skinny Bob's is higher Fargo than that.He beat a 520 and a 610 to make the cash. That wouldn't even win a weekly tournament.
Looks like...Playing Chris Melling now in the US Open.
So he played a bit below 700 speed? Seems like a good showing for him if he was a true 650 when he started.Looks like...
Lost to Thorsten Hohmann, 9-3
Beat Michael Pruitt 8-4
Lost to Chris Melling, 8-4
The Pruitt that I find in Fargo is Mike, not Michael, but if that is him then he is a 590 from Brooklyn, NY.

Maybe. Can't tell. Player has to figure out what the gig is first.should have kept his 6 figure job good luck .
I think we've had 3-4 in the past 20 years on here. They always come and go and don't stick around.Several years ago we had a poster on here who was convinced he could get to pro speed in a year...I think he ended up quitting the whole sport. Anyone remember him, I cant for the life of me remember his handle...
I'm a 570 now and was probably about 540 speed 25 years ago when this was said to me. The local hotshot (has since quit long before Fargo, would prob have been a 700 in his prime then). He says to me when I was asking about speeds: "I was your speed for about 2 weeks".whats the learning curve for pros?
do some guys get into 700 territory close to day one when they are kids? ive heard such stores
