wu kun lin is probably the only one. i think on merit duong would be picked. he's the only asian to have won a matchroom event this year (PLP)? second highest fargo, third if you include yapp. he's just having a tyler moment..
 
Thanks to all for this wonderful thread. My schedule did not allow me to watch either today’s play or tomorrow’s matches, but by following this thread, I feel like I am not missing ALL the action.

Are people really waking up at 4/5/6am to watch this slaughter? I'm cool with the replays and highlights lol.

One thing is for sure, Team ROW's dominance does not bode well for Team USA in the upcoming MC. Hopefully Gorst and SVB walk away with something they learned to incorporate it into Team USA's strategy.

The score is lopsided but the matches have been somewhat competitive imo. Just too many mistakes from asia. It's far more entertaining than the mosconis
 
Crowd seems huge today.

Matchroom must have given a lot of free tickets out, which seems a good idea.

Asia starting well, could they do the unthinkable.
 
Thorsten is in the Phillipines.

He is going to try and qualify for the Mosconi Cup.

good example of why 9-ball is more entertaining to watch than 10-ball.

btw just play the carom there. the first one aleksa tried to cut in and make the 9 in the same shot. focus on the carom and 6-ball can get safe on bottom rail

Crazy location for it given they are right in the firing line from Iran. F1 has just had to rearrange the end of their season as they didn't think it was safe to race in the middle east meanwhile Matchroom announcing new events there.

Bahrain are desperate to try and get tourism restarted.

I suspect Matchroom had a strong negotiating hand.
