I put radials in the cues I built, but play with 5/16-14 now. I have a phenolic insert in the shafts to keep the loosening of the radial at bay.

My only beef with this tournament, other than the obvious above, was that there was absolutely no reason for a 1am match.... NONE!! i get there at noon sunday and there are over 30 tables open and the remaining teams are occupying 3 tables.

In his description he notes the brass collar. That is a sweet looking cue. I have been wanting to build a cue without a bumper but i have a "heavy hand."

Wetting the bottom of the tip helps quite a bit also. I sand the bottom of the tip, apply gel super glue to ferrule, "lick" the bottom of the tip, dab on shirt then press on to glued ferrule. I "swirl" the tip on the ferrule until it no longer moves and is bonded to the ferrule.

HAH! Try using one of those for a sore throat. They DO look like Chloraseptic Lozenges. We received some in that packaging a few weeks ago.
