Did you sell your hybrid alpha? What is the reason for selling it? Between the 2, which one is your pick and why. Thanks

Shaft weight (mezz alpha hybrid vs 314 2)

If shaft weight change the balance of a cue and affects the feel of the cue altogether. Not many shaft specify the weight of it. I would like to know what is the actual weight of the two shafts. I tried a mezz cue with 314 2 shaft and feels good, but i want to buy a alpha hybrid for more feel...

Looking for Mezz WD700 12.8 mm

Same as me, i find it difficult to shoot long shot and very thin cut shot. I used my predator 314 and a pocket better. That's why i want at least 12.75 tip size, feels ok to me. I check on billiard warehouse, my only problem is i'm from New Zealand and i'f they send me 12.5 mm i can't return it...

giving away or selling a defective cue

Hi, just curious about this thread. My new cue, when i roll the butt, the joint side or the forearm wobble, meaning it doesn't stay flat on the surface (going up and down). Is this what you mean defective? If i compare this to my predator, the butt rolls perfect. Is this will affect the...

Predator bk2 butt as playing cue

This is always players preference. If you hit well on a rear balance cue then use it. I'm using a 314 shaft and a bk2 butt, balance at around 17.5 in. total weight is 19.1 oz. I found it easier to pocket ball using the BK2 butt. Having said that, the weight of my 3k1 is around 19.8 oz. I...

    Shafts not straight anymore

Hi, just curiosity, your avatar pic seems to be the same pin that was used on my cue. May i ask where the pin came from? Is this a 3/8 x 8? I have been searching for an LD shaft for my cue and the pin is always the issue.

    Shafts not straight anymore

I have a brand new custom made cues. I didn't check the roll of the shaft when i received it, then after 5 days of playing with the cue before putting it back on my case, i roll the shaft and notice a wobble on it. It's a nice hitting cue but i don't have confident shooting a long straight in...

    Radial Pin

Bebot Bautista cue. What is my option to put a predator shaft or any LD shaft?

    Radial Pin

Thanks for your quick reply. My understanding if you say radial pin it is proprietary name of unilock which is still 3/8 x 8 with radius shape groove. So if you have 3/8 x 8 with radius groove, why will it not fit a radial predator shaft? I am not 100% sure but if you can explain it I would...

    Radial Pin

Hi, Just a simple question. Is a 3/8 x 8 pin (not unilock) will fit on a radial predator shaft?

    Slate Frame

Let say worst case scenario, I have a sag slate, how will i level the slate? I can't put shim between the liner and the slate. If is shim on the cross beam or horizontal that means only the liner move and not the slate.

    Slate Frame

My scenario right now as mentioned, there is a sag on the frame in the middle. So the three slates are wedge quite a bit in the middle say around 5 mm. This result a big gap between the slate and the liner. So how would i support the middle of the slate? That's why my route is to put a framed on...
