    thanks Thanks Dave, Never thought of that. I was sanding with 80 or 100 grit sanding paper.... then scoring very lightly with a utility knife. Want to have small channels for the Gorilla Super glue to suck up into. Also, sand and score the ferrule. I tend to over do things. later, sax
