Are Luat and Andam still under Puyat now? I know they were under Puyat when they were still winning tournaments.

From what I remember, not until recently, Puyat only supported Efren and Django. Alex was included in Puyat's stable only after he won the wpc. I haven't heard of Puyat developing young, up and coming talents in pool. I can't say he trully supported the sport.

This is not the case anymore. A lot more of women are hanging out at pool rooms. Although just to play socially. Filipinas who take the game seriously is still not that much though compared to other asian countries

Managed to watch Shane play yesterday and I'm very impressed with him. Down 7-2, he managed to come back and win a hill hill match. His demeanor on the table is very impressive.. quite comparable to Efren. I'm now rooting for him.. except if he is playing a pinoy.. :p

One of the commentators Anthony Suntay is so goddamn irritating!! acting like an expert but pretty obvious that he doesn't know the game well..

I was at the tournament venue and I must say everyone including the organizers and the tv crew loved alex!! I haven't seen any Asian 9-ball leg where the crowd was really into it and loving it! Alex brought out the fun in the Singapore leg. I was with Alex and the pinoy contingent most nights...

Ronnie, Alex and Gomez was at the local pool hall earlier. Finally a match between KK and Ronnie was setup. Not sure about the total amount on the line but my friends got in for 800 for Ronnie in a race to 13 giving only 1 rack to KK on tight pockets. Final score was 13-10 if I remembered...

This is exactly why I want to see the top players here play Ronnie.. to learn and gain more experience playing top players in the world..

Definitely his visit won't be publicized since he was looking for money matches. I doubt Guinness will appreciate any publicity involving Ronnie gambling. One of the guys at the pool hall actually told me on friday night that a match has already been setup for the following night at 10pm.. but...

I was actually looking forward to watch KK play with Jherome or Ronnie as among all the Singapore players, it's KK I'm most impressed with.. too bad it didn't materialize.. let's see if something will be worked out in the upcoming guinness stop..
