I recall you mentioning this in the picture thread. Worked like a charm. Wrap at the Forearm and butt. For Coos, i believe this is brazillian rosewood, since it is from a 1940s willie hoppe pro.

I will try to get a better shot. The rosewood is so dark, hard to get a good clean shot of the wrap. It has some texture to the feel, but not sticky or slick. This one is not thick, so not cushioned. Feels like wrapless, with a bit of a soft texture. Which i prefer since i typically play...

Here is a dark rosewood 1940s willie hoppe pro conversion. No amboyna, but has a spanish bull wrap. I suppose this a fairly classic design choice.
